Joi Cartenders

Professional service.
Ownership-aligned capacity.

Joi Ride is building a structured alternative to gig chasing: approved EV standards, W-2 compensation, eligible tips, and verified activity.

W2

Structured compensation

Approved pilot Cartenders are expected to receive hourly W-2 compensation rather than depend only on unpredictable trip volume.

100%

Eligible tips

Eligible rider gratuities are passed through according to Joi Ride policy.

+mi

Owner capacity bonus

Approved EV Owner Cartenders may earn a paid-mile capacity bonus when verified paid service miles move through the network.

Two participation paths

Fleet Cartender: operates a Joi Ride or fleet-partner vehicle under the approved service standard.

Owner Cartender / Capacity Partner: contributes an approved EV and may participate in ownership-aligned paid-mile economics under pilot rules.

Hourly pay protects the worker. Paid-mile economics align the capacity partner. Tips reward the service.

Final compensation, eligibility, reimbursement, bonus, insurance, vehicle, scheduling, and employment terms are provided during formal onboarding and may vary by pilot role.
